On The Fork, London Ontario

This will be the third blog post in a row featuring London, Ontario. I'm all about local support.

For my birthday dinner, we went to an old favourite of ours. On The Fork is an elegant and upscale establishment yet instills a very casual fine dining experience in town, located within the London Museum.

Dinner prices are very reasonable with appetizers ranging from $10-$13 and entrees set at $14-$23.

Each item on the summer dinner menu tonight sounded tempting and was presented beautifully, although the attempts at molecular gastronomy were a little distracting and passé.

Nonetheless, the restaurant is still one of London's best kept secrets and a little gem.

We passed on dessert and ordered another appetizer instead... The gentlemen next to us ordered the quail and we were a bit envious.
